This plan lets you experience two Japanese traditions at once: kimono and tea ceremony. It includes one komon kimono, or a men's haori kimono, for one person (yukata in summer), dressing and hair styling, and a tea ceremony of about 30 minutes. Afterwards you can keep the kimono on and stroll around Sensoji Temple.

A relaxed plan for a proper tea ceremony without wearing a kimono. Includes matcha and a Japanese sweet, about 30 minutes. Our staff guide you through each step, so first-timers are in good hands.

Hold a fan in kimono and learn the basic movements of nihon buyo, Japanese classical dance (about 30 min). Held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only, at 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00.
This plan lets you experience two Japanese traditions at once: kimono and nihon buyo (Japanese classical dance). Includes one komon kimono or men's haori kimono per person (yukata in summer), dressing and hair styling, and a dance session of about 30 minutes. After the dance you can keep wearing your kimono and stroll around Sensoji Temple. Note: at the 17:00 session the kimono is returned right after the dance, so there is no stroll afterwards.

Extras like makeup and early-morning arrival to round out your experience.
Early arrivals need to be arranged in advance. Extra charges apply: +2,200 JPY per person between 8:00 and 9:00, +3,300 JPY between 7:00 and 8:00.
Please return everything by noon (12:00) the next day. We take a deposit of 10,000 JPY, or 500 CNY via WeChat, and refund it when you return the items; if you'd like a bank transfer, the transfer fee is yours to cover. Returns after noon incur a late fee of 2,200 JPY per day. If you return by post, postage is at your expense — please send it the same day and let us know the tracking number. If shipping is delayed, we deduct 2,200 JPY per day from the deposit.
